Running a growing independent fashion brand means constantly balancing creativity with real-world costs—and right now, those costs are rising fast. From collection curation to order fulfillment, increases are happening across the board, and unfortunately, shipping hasn’t been spared.
It has been important to me to keep shipping costs low for our customers. This has meant absorbing a large portion of the shipping costs on each order ourselves.
That approach worked for a while. But at this stage of our business, it’s simply no longer sustainable. Shipping costs have risen significantly, especially for rural destinations and heavier garments (coats, knits, layered pieces).
Continuing to absorb shipping costs at our current scale would mean pulling money directly from inventory budgets, future collections, and the long-term health of the business.
And rather than quietly raising prices across the board or cutting corners elsewhere, we’ve decided to make one clear, honest change — and explain it properly.
What’s Changing (Effective December 26, 2025)
Starting December 26, 2025, we’re simplifying our shipping structure entirely.
New Standard Shipping Rates (Canada & U.S.):
• $15 flat-rate shipping on all orders under $200
• FREE standard shipping on orders $200+
That’s it.
No sliding scale. No fine print. No regional surprises.
Local Delivery (Kelowna Area)
Local delivery isn’t going anywhere — we’re just adjusting the threshold.
• FREE next-day local delivery on orders $200+
• $15 local delivery on orders under $200
This allows us to continue offering local delivery while keeping it sustainable long-term.
Why We’re Making This Change
We want to be very clear: this is not about gouging.
We don’t want to build a brand that survives one season and disappears the next.
We’d love to offer free shipping and delivery to everyone, all the time — truly. But the reality is that for an independent brand like ours, sustainable growth means making decisions that keep the business healthy, stable, and able to keep bringing you standout pieces you can’t find elsewhere.
